well. im back home. its good to be back. i missed my first day of skool and didnt sleep at all before going to the second. made it through the day by borrowing some meds. busy getting shit together here... wes moved in and he is awesome. thats about it... but you should come to our next show monday SEPT 15th. one am at night KIND OF LIKE SPITTING RACHEL JACOBS and mabey pineapple it starts so late cause its the 'secret' show after the show at the north star is over. does anyone have a coffee machine we can borrow to keep ourselves awake for it??? |

im getting my last little blast of summer carefree fun before skool starts in a week. after the show at our house rachel asked me to come on tour with her until i start skool so i said hells yes. first stop is akron ohio, where we are now. we just met some kids who are setting up a show for us tonight. hopefully one reason gets my email and decide to come as well. tomorrow is bloomington. then some more ohio, then back to ann arbor and detroit. some more ohio... pittsburg and home. ill be getting back the morning of my first day of skool. im really psyched to be on this tour. its good to feel alive again. |

looks like im going to be in ann arbor for a couple more days since my ride changed their minds. i need to get doing stuff, but itll be nice to spend a next couple days with all the people i met here. im going to miss them. there are so many amazing and fun kids here... im going to have to come back sometime. yesterday afternoon we did another show at the house here, this time for one inch punch, mario, and the havana affair, a ramones cover band who did like 20 some songs in about 20 minutes. since the show didnt start on time, my friend steve and i opened for it by playing songs on the piano and acoustic guitars. we covered nuetral milk hotel, the promise ring, and op:c.c.... it was fun. i got nervous, but didnt mess up. everyone kept telling us they liked it. the show was a good time. then went to yet another show at the trumbullplex in detroit. its a pretty amazing space and anyone around here should check it out. its pretty amazing what a bunch of kids can do if they invest enough of themselves into a project. |

looks like my stay in michigain is coming to an end soon. i shall be back in the tri-state area and moving into my new philly home on the 4th or 5th. its been a good month. ive made all kinds of friends... play basketball with the punx and risk with michelle and her friends. i got to throw a show for speakeasy and the latterman with my friend steve last minute in the house we are living in. went pool hopping and canoeing. ride a bike around. snuck into an abandoned building that burned down the next day. get to spend alot of time with amazing people and alot of time alone. i like it here alot. everyone wants me to move here, but i kinda want to go home. ive got this new sweet house coming. mabey one day ill move here. definitely a town i can feel at home in for future travels and getaways. this summer has been strange. definitely doing alot better than before. im excited to come home though and see everyone. |

yesterday. i bleached all my hair. then dyed it black again. then went to emergency room after friends get hit by car. freaked out alittle but. they are ok so we get vegan icecream nad photobooth pictures. i sign a lease with melanie and eric. try to chill out. say good bye to alex for a month. got sad. cried alittle bit. said goodbye to lacy. got sad again. forgot how to draw. got frusterated. decided to leave philly next day. ran home and told roommates im moving out, packed bags for next month and left in half and hour. passed out at megans. today. woke up. ran some last minute errands. missed my bus to bethlehem. took more photobooth pictures. about to miss my next bus to bethlehem. oh well. im going to be headed to ann arbor for a month on monday to see my best friend and chill out. this summer has been emotionally hectic. |

i finally finished 'our lady of flowers' by jean genet. amazing. read it. unlike anything else i ever read except for 'the theifs journal' which is also by jean genet. he writes in an awesome origional poetic like way... i dont know how to describe it, but it makes all other novels seem boring. also. i bleached the sides of my hair. ridiculous. |

ok. so, im feeling alot better than before. been spending alot of time with friends. started sketching in a sketch book for the first time. feeling reinspired. writing and thinking and reading. i think i am going to stay in ann arbor MI for some of teh summer. does anyone know anyone cool there that i should meet? |

lacey is pretty awesome. we hangout everyday and share a huose adn room. we are like brother adn sister. we even look like it cause we are greek. ive been having a hard time but im beggining to feel a bit better by having lots of long talks and writing. i just wish philadelphia would get some sun. its acting like portland and not the summer that ive been waiting for all winter. im thinking that i should mabey go to ann arbor for a while to stay with my best friend michelle. |

my journal name is in honor of lacy davis and also fucking love lifes. im realizing my life has grown stagnant and needs change. as good as it is to finally have a breath of air, i miss people that i spent the last week with locked int eh pirates cove. trying to decide if i should somehow stay in philly, move to nj, or move back to allentown. i dont konw what to do. |
